Texan Pulled Pork
What you need:
1.5kg Pork Shoulder Roast
1 cup Morepork Hickory Sauce (or BBQ sauce)
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 diced brown onion
1 tspn paprika
1 tspn horseradish
2 tspn crushed garlic
1/2 tspn salt
1/2 tspn pepper
Here we go:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Place chopped onion and pork in slow cooker. Pour all ingredients from bowl into slow cooker. Cook for 5-6 hours on low heat.
Once cooked through, take pork out and place on chopping board to rest for 5 mins. Shred pork using two forks and place meat on platter and serve with coleslaw and buns.
